Welcome to Mama Mia Campestre, a captivating dining experience nestled in the picturesque countryside of Atotonilco, just a short drive from San Miguel de Allende. Located on Carretera al Santuario de Atotonilco KM2.180, this charming eatery invites you to unwind and indulge in a variety of international dishes, all while surrounded by beautiful gardens and serene water features.
One of the standout features of Mama Mia Campestre is its renowned wood-fired pizzas, crafted to perfection and celebrated by locals as a must-try. Complimented by a selection of homemade craft beers brewed on-site, each visit promises an adventure for your taste buds. As noted by Lainey Cameron, the lovely locale enhances the experience, making it a favored spot for leisurely Sunday afternoons, complete with comfy seating on the veranda.
The ambiance here is undeniably inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating options catering to diverse preferences. The vibrant gardens and an impressive play area for children create a family-friendly environment that appeals to guests of all ages. Just as Gavin Greenwood highlighted, visiting this gem not only satisfies your palate but also offers a chance to bask in nature’s beauty, making it an ideal getaway.
However, like any dining experience, Mama Mia Campestre has its nuances. While many relish the flavorful dishes and attentive service, such as the delightful chips and guacamole noted by Eric “The Niz” Nisley, there may be moments when service could be slow, as encountered by H. Taft on their visit. Yet, the exquisite settings and overall experience often overshadow any minor hiccups.
As you explore this enchanting destination, you might also discover hidden culinary treasures beyond pizzas—such as expertly cooked steaks and a variety of international dishes that mesmerize your palate. As Angello aptly put it, the offerings are not only tasty but come with a focus on enhancing the customer experience. Coupled with an accessible parking lot, Mama Mia Campestre stands as a haven for locals and travelers alike.
In summary, if you're anywhere near San Miguel de Allende, make sure to visit Mama Mia Campestre. The combination of stunning natural beauty, delicious food, and a warm community atmosphere makes it a dining experience you won't want to miss.

Gorgeous spot for an afternoon out in the country, about a 20-25 minute drive from San Miguel. Nice wood fire pizzas, bbq, craft beer from their brewery but mostly it’s the lovely locale that makes it worth the trip. One of our favorite places to hang on a Sunday afternoon - we like the comfy seating in the shade on the veranda of the main building. Nice big (tall)) play castle that looks great for kids.

Beautiful spot about 15 minutes from San Miguel de Allende. Ordered a sampler of beer and some chips and guacamole. The IPA and the stout were my favorites. The Bavarian special was too smoky for my tastes. Be mindful of the market on Sunday that blocks traffic. Place reminds me a little of McMenamins in Oregon. Lots of places to sit in and outside. Check in and check out at the gate which is a nice touch. Easy parking and Many locals eating and hanging out. I want to come back and try some pizza. Not an inexpensive place. A pint of beer is 105 pesos (6 US). Worth a visit imo.

If you are anywhere near San Miguel de Allende, take the time to visit Atotonilco town. Small, quaint, quiet and very pretty. Mama Mia Campestre is located very close to the town and includes a beer brewery, beautiful gardens and water features, play area for kids, great service and a delicious variety of international foods to choose from. Definitely a great place to enjoy time in a well-managed natural environment.

The place is amazing! My ribeye steak was over cooked and the service was slow. 2nd visit, we love this beautiful place. Food was very good this time as we celebrated our friend's birthday.

This is great place to have lunch in San Miguel de Allende. It is open area restaurant. Meals are tasty. And several dishes and specialties. PIZZA is a must have. Servers have excellent attitude and focused to customer's experience. The gardens and artificial pond are very nice. Lots of fish in the pond. It also has play ground area for kids. Really nice place to visit in San Miguel de Allende. It has parking lot... which is great.

We ate here on our last night. The only con is that they were out of the tomahawk and arrancheras. However, it's a very releaxing meal in a beautiful country setting. The service was fantastic and the food (farm to table) was delicious. Great place to have a meal with friends. We had mezcal margaritas and they were huge. We ordered several dishes to share and everything was delicious. Highly recommend a visit here!

Great place to get outside and enjoy company. Bocci ball, walking trail, and horseback riding is available. If your a beer fan get the sampler and you'll find a favorite. Great for dates. Be sure and leave your table to explore.

We decided to spend an afternoon out of the hustle and bustle of San Miguel de Allende. At the advice of a friend we decided to try Mama Mia Campestre. It is a beautiful location with excellent food and great service. We are glad we listened to our friends recommendation. When first entering, it is easy to notice the tranquil, park-like setting. Lots of trees, a pond, and a waterfall make it one of the most naturally beautiful restaurants we have dined at in the San Miguel de Allende area. The tables are nicely spaced so although there were a lot of people at the restaurant, it felt uncrowded and serene. Our server was friendly and efficient and while she didn't speak English, she put up with my mediocre Spanish and kept a smile on her face. We ordered onion rings, chicken wings, and a pear burratta salad. The onion rings were huge and delicious. The chicken wings were perfectly cooked with an interesting sweet and sour sauce (we both liked the flavor of the sauce bet felt there was a little too much of it). Unfortunately my mediocre Spanish probably led to our server bringing the wrong salad. Instead of the pear burratta salad we got a salad with goat cheese, greens, garlic chips, and beets. While the salad was good, neither Stacy or I like beets so we were somewhat disappointed. We will definitely try the pear burratta salad next time. While we usually leave Harkin at home when dining out, we saw that this restaurant was pet friendly and decided to bring him along. He enjoyed all the greenery and natural space and there were many other dogs there taking advantage of the delightful setting. We are looking forward to returning.
